About

For as long as I can remember, comic books have been a cornerstone of my personal library. My journey began with the simple joy of buying or receiving random issues as a child, eventually evolving into a hobby of hunting through flea markets and buying entire boxes of back issues on eBay. Those boxes were treasures, filled with stories I would read and re-read, wishing I could fill the gaps in the storyline.

Today, that passion for storytelling remains as strong as ever, though the way I read comics has evolved with technology. With digital subscriptions like DC Universe Infinite Ultra and the Marvel Comics app’s Ultimate tier, I find myself in a position to keep up with the output of the “Big Two” publishers where the cost of physical copies would not let me read as much.

This site helps organize the latest releases from both Marvel and DC. I’ll also touch on indies and comics in general. The weekly releases might include my quick takes as I read them. Heads up, they could contain spoilers.

Whether you are a lifelong collector like me or a newcomer looking to dive into the multiverse, this site is designed to be a companion for your reading. It provides a clear overview of what’s new, helping to ensure that no great story goes unnoticed in the sea of weekly releases, however you enjoy your comics.

  • A subscription costs less than buying new releases every week.
  • It opens up a huge back catalog of classic stories.
  • There are no heavy boxes to store or move.
  • I can read on a backlit tablet in the dark without the sound of turning pages waking my wife.

For those reasons, I say:
